Creative Day for Project Linus Eastern Panhandle.
This is a day we get together and enjoy a day of being creative for Project Linus or ourselves. It is a time that we can visit with others and get fresh ideas. Show and tell is always welcome. There may be classes or short demonstrations. You are welcome to check out our supplies and kits for new projects.
Blanket Day for Project Linus Eastern Panhandle.
Is scheduled once a month on the 3rd Saturday of the month. It is the day that we collect blankets, inspect them, tag and label them and size them to get ready to distribute to the locations in need of blankets. We have kits, fabric and yarn for your projects. You are welcome to bring projects to work on.
What is Project Linus?
Project Linus is a non profit that provides love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
We are working to cover Berkeley, Jefferson and Morgan Counties as well as providing blankets to WVU Children's Hospital, Morgantown WV and Children's National Hospital, Washington DC
You can make a real difference in so many ways by working with Project Linus. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Click "About Us" to learn more.
